A quick note on home visits later this month!

As part of the recovery work here in Kátł’odeeche First Nation, our team will be going around to do housing assessment. We know many homes have dogs and other pets (and we love seeing them!), but we also want to make sure everyone—our crew, you, and your pets—stays safe during these visits. Here’s what we’re doing to help things go smoothly:

• We’ll always book an appointment with you first – no surprise visits. When we call, we’ll ask if you have any dogs or other animals on the property.
• On the day of your appointment, we’ll ask you to meet us outside and walk us onto your property. That way, your dog feels safe.
• We respect your space and your animals. We won’t come into your space without your OK, and we’ll always wait for you before entering your yard.
