About Youth and Community Justice
KFN Youth Program is for youth 15-29 years of age. The program allows the youth to learn new or enhance their Employment Skills, Cultural and Traditional Activities, Life Skills, Personal Development Sessions and Recreation and Outdoor Activities.
The Youth Program operate Tuesday -Saturday 1:00 PM-9:30 PM. The facilities used for activities are School Gym, Community Complex, Community Arbour and our Traditional Hunting and Trapping Areas. A calendar is distributed every month.
KFN Community Justice Program assists clients who are recommended by the courts, RCMP to take part in a community sentencing circle. The program also assists client who have to do community service hours, set out by the court and a fine option program.
