Mapping is used on a continual bases in all aspects of KFN’s interest, in supporting our Traditional Lands and protected our elders information for future generations.

New IT Department

For the past six months I have been working with various IT groups to help Katlodeeche First Nation to the Broadband Internet or the world wideweb. Through new technologies and the development of our new website and binging wifi to the community, and IT certification training, Katlodeeche will be able to provide a wifi service to it KFN members. The development of a new IT department for future training and job creation is the number one goal for KFN members.

Personal Message
I would like to thank New West Creative, Michael Dargie for our new and improved Website, and also Indian and Northern Affairs for there much appreciated contribution. This website is a long awaited link to the outside world to see who we are as a people, and where we come from, I am a proud member of leadership and a proud member if Katlodeeche First Nation. Many years we have been struggling with keeping our Band membership informed including members that live outside the KFN community. This website is dedicated to those who would like to see your community and see past and haven’t’ been able to. I would also like to dedicate this for those elders who have passed on and for the next generation of young people and including our members out in the world that will one day return home.
